This icon is made from recycled aluminium mounted on reclaimed timber. There are cut out birds, an owl, a goose, a hen, a blackbird and a sparrow around the figure.
The etched surface is treated with a combination of black and gold to give a gorgeous patina.
There is a wire loop on the back for wall display.
It is about 19 x 7.5 cm or 7.5 x 3 inches.

The metal is recycled aluminium drink cans. I use wood that would otherwise go to waste, so sometimes there are little marks and imperfections - all part of the story.
All my items are hand made and will have very slight variations from the photographs. This is a part of the Seventy Seven Seas ethos and values - each piece is unique.
